Partant du principe que le risque est inhérent à l’écriture de soi, l’article
examine l’oeuvre autophotobiographique de trois écrivaines – Claude Cahun
(Aveux non avoués), Annie Ernaux, ( L’Usage de la photo) et Chantal Akerman
(Ma Mère rit) – pour s’interroger sur la manière dont l’insertion des images
dans le texte implique un risque lié tant à l’expérimentation artistique qu’à
une exhibition de l’intime qui enfreint les règles de la morale.
Starting from the premise that risk is inherent to self-writing, the article examines
the autofotobiographical works of three female writers – Claude Cahun (Aveux non
avoués), Annie Ernaux ( L’Usage de la photo), and Chantal Akerman (Ma Mère
rit) – to inquire into how the integration of images into the text involves a risk linked
both to artistic experimentation and to an exposure of the intimate that challenges
moral norms.
