The present work aims at collecting the most significant collocations of the novel Il metodo Catalanotti by Andrea Camilleri and, taking account of a classification of their structure, analyses the values they transmit, especially when the author introduces Sicilian words or variants in the formation of the phraseological units.
This approach will be the starting point to be able to propose a series of solutions to the translation into Spanish of the Camillerian collocations, both in the general language and in the specialised languages.
