In this contribution we will focus on the results of a survey on the use of Facebook by students of the University of Milano-Bicocca, which is part of a more generic survey on “media diet” and ICTs usage conducted by the Observatory on New Media (NuMediaBiOs) of the University of Milano Bicocca. Afterwards we will propose
some reflections on the use of Facebook in education in light of the results of the survey and the international scientific literature
