Linee di indirizzo per la ripresa delle attività formative professionalizzanti per i corsi di laurea e di laurea magistrale delle professioni
sanitarie in tempi di COVID-19 - Approvate il 23 APRILE 2020
Healthcare Professional education both at the Bachelor and
at the Master levels in Italy are all facing important challenges
due to the COVID-19 outbreak requiring unprecedented decisions especially with regards to clinical rotations. According
to national laws, immediately after the outbreak, internship
for healthcare professions had been kept left unchanged; however, while theoretical activities resumed almost immediately in remotely, skill laboratories and clinical rotations have
been suspended throughout Italy, largely by joint decision
of the Health Care Trusts and Universities due to different
reasons, mainly related with the need to ensure safe and effective learning rotations. The main purpose of these Guidelines is to support Universities to address decisions on how to
redesign, re-initiate, manage, and evaluate clinical training
rotations at the time of COVID-19 by ensuring the highest
quality and safety for these experiences at different levels,
namely students, patients, educators, Health Care Trusts and
Universities. These Guidelines have been developed through
a consensus process involving all 27 National Commissions
leading Bachelors and Master Degrees in different disciplines
and finally approved by the National Board of the Permanent Conference on the 23rd of April 2020.
