The results of the experience gained by the authors while
upgrading an existing offshore vessel are here presented to
properly focus the sequential steps applied in the feasibility
design process. Reference is made to the results of model tests
and their comparison with currently recommended numerical
predictions. An example of DP capability predictions for the
converted vessel is presented.
