One of the targets of the Graphene Flagship project (graphene-flagship.eu) was to demonstrate through functional prototypes the viability and performance of graphene in large-area applications where flexibility, stretchability and sustainability play a key role. As an alternative to metal-based conductors, e-textile fibres based on or modified with printed graphene or graphene-related materials (GRM) were investigated together with graphene-based functionalities for etextile
applications where mechanical properties have a huge importance. During the project several GRMbased building blocks were realized for applications in sports, well-being and health monitoring. This part of Graphene Flagship focussing on flexible electronics.
