In a world full of E-waste, there are other ways to use older electronic devices such as computers and smartphones. In the collection named “Museo dell'Informatica e delle Macchine da Calcolo”, hosted in the premises of Technical High School “Alessandro Volta” in Trieste, there are many of these devices, some of them with a high historical value. It is not just a collection to watch, but a special way to teach students about the importance of technical progress related to social and historical development, including in this way also subjects which only apparently are not related.
