Abstract
In the field of post mortem forensic investigations multi slice tomography (MSCT) is acquiring an increasinngly important role. The authors illustrate a case of an obes man, in a severe state of agitation, who died after fight with the police and who was handcuffes in a prone position on the floor. he died after several minutes. The MSCT, a repeatable act, performed on the corpse before conventional autopsy and all forensic investigations lead to clissify the death as a positional ashyxia due to restriction.
