The authors present a case study, where digital technologies were implemented for online education (particularly,
mathematics education) at Italian primary school level. Results of this study confirm that the quick transition to the online
form of education, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was successful and provided experience which may be useful in
future didactic activities.
