L'utilizzo e la diffusione del database CLC non possono ignorare l'ambito didattico. Si consideri che, in molti Enti pubblici, questi strumenti sono ormai largamente utilizzati, mentre nella didattica (universitaria e soprattutto Scolastica) non è sempre così. Poiché si ritiene che il principale ostacolo alla conoscenza di CLC siano i Costi dei GIS, si propone una presentazione con free GIS, utilizzata per corsi di laurea e specializzazione. Si descrivono i metodi per l'elaborazione di carte tematiche con l'utilizzo di free GIS. The use and the diffusion of the CLC database cannot neglect the didactic approach. This instrument is generally used by many Public Institutions but it unlikely applies to didactic activities. Furthermore, the principal problem of the use of CLC is related to the cost of the GIS. In order to softwe this problem, the project provides methodologies for the elaboration of thematic cartography using the free GIS.
