The article presents an analysis of Šklovskij’s specific self-narration modes. The author combines the evocation of the past with his reflection on life writing emerging from specific literary strategies, such as estrangement and fragmentariness, aimed at disrupting some of the autobiographic genre mechanisms, in an attempt to represent real life transcending consolidated literary paths.
