This paper presents the multidisciplinary journal QuaderniCIRD, an interesting example of an open access resource, and weighs up the achieved results and its fruition at national and international levels. Published since 2010, in digital format, by EUT (Edizioni Università di Trieste), QuaderniCIRD aims to promote research, proposals, and innovative learning experiences in all disciplines taught at pre-university and university level. The purpose of this journal is also to disseminate educational materials for teachers and provide information about the activities of CIRD (Centro Interdipartimentale per la Ricerca Didattica) at the University of Trieste.
