2019-11-29
Abstract
Leonardo da Vinci is the symbol of the Renaissance, as an extraordinary inventor, researcher, passionate about culture. His knowledge spans many different fields including mathematics and its applications; however, despite Leonardo recognizes the relevance of numbers at the basic of Nature, his relationship with math is somehow dynamic and extremely funny. Get ready for a little journey into the life of a genius, to discover the "emotional side" of a researcher in action! Lorenzo Pizzuti was born in Terni, Italy in 1992. He graduated in Physics at the University if Perugia with the highest marks cum laude, and he got the Piano Degree in Music at the Conservatory of Terni. After the PhD in Physics ah the University of Trieste he is currently working at the Astronomic Observatory of the Autonomous Region Valle d'Aosta as a researcher and a science communicator. In 2016 he won the national final of the Talent Show "Famelab", attending the international final competition at Cheltenham Science Festival.
