Evoking the major projects and major realizations in transport systems and agglomerative effects of the nodes of these along the Corridor V, the paper sets out:
- to investigate whether there is or is not genuine link between transport nodes and new economic and urban agglomeration in the study area;
- to reflect on the interconnections between systems brought by new international-national (high-speed highways), regional (Schnellbahn, regional metropolitan railways, RER) and urban (metro, tram and bus) transport and accessibility to the new ultra local suburban and peri-urban nodes, through new techniques of transport between major attractors (node-settlement) next to each other (through people moover, cable cars, treadmills and local transportation ultra slow and of neighborhood).
