A partire da una breve rassegna degli studiosi principali e dei temi da questi sviluppati nel
contesto della teoria della Gestalt, se ne considereranno aspetti di rilievo per la didattica, in particolare della matematica.
Si mostrerà come tali aspetti risultino quanto mai attuali nelle analisi cognitive e come il loro approfondimento possa essere utile per capire soprattutto in quali direzioni orientare la ricerca futura. Starting from a brief survey on the most authoritative scholars of the Gestalt theory and on the themes developed in this context , we deal with some significant aspects for education, in particular, for mathematics education. It is shown how these aspects are as relevant as ever in cognitive analysis and, above all, how their in-depth study can point the way for further research in the field.
