L'Autore analizza la "Teoria delle località periferiche del turismo" proposta dal Christaller in tarda età, dimostrando come essa non possa venir considerata un'estensione della più nota Teoria delle località centrali, mancandone del tutto i presupposti. The paper deals with the theory of peripheral places of tourism, proposed by W. Christaller in one of his last essays. The discussion proves that it cannot be considered an extension of the better known central place theory, for lacking of logic prerequisites.
