Il presente studio si propone di indagare l'integrazione grammaticale delle parole italiane prese in prestito in russo. Mentre i sostantivi animati seguono il criterio del genere naturale, i sostantivi inanimati vengono assegnati alla categoria del genere essenzialmente sulla base di tre ordini di fattori: quello genetico (influenza del genere che il sostantivo aveva nella lingua di partenza), quello morfologico o strutturale (ruolo preponderante della desinenza del sostantivo) e quello paradigmatico (influenza del genere dell'iperonimo o del sostantivo semanticamente affine in russo). Nel russo contemporaneo per i sostantivi inanimati che terminano con una vocale si osserva uno slittamento del parametro di riferimento dal criterio morfologico-strutturale a quello paradigmatico.
The present study aims to investigate grammatical integration of Italian words which have been borrowed into Russian. While animate nouns follow the criterion of natural gender, inanimate nouns are assigned to the category of gender essentially on the basis of three orders of factors: the genetic one (infuence of the gender that the noun had in the source language), the morphological or structural one (preponderant role of the ending of the noun) and the paradigmatic one (infuence of the gender of the hypernym or semantically related noun in Russian). In contemporary Russian for inanimate nouns ending in a vowel there is a shift of the reference parameter from the
morphological-structural to the paradigmatic criterion.
