Abstract
We introduce the notion of convergence in distribution for bounded monotone set functions on the real line and obtain a characterization which allows us to link this convergence and an abstract notion of weak convergence. Moreover, we introduce a suitable topology in order to study the properties of the convergence in distribution from a topological point of view.
