The paper questions the fate of the vast heritage of abandoned industrial warehouses that draw the landscapes of settlement sprawl. The reconversion of these artifacts brings into play a reflection on construction practices that can take advantage not only from the different use of spaces, but also from the recycling of the elements that compose them. The concept of re-cycling involves the building in its entirety and its components, each of which can be given a project value.
