Abstract
The present report shows that ammonium-functionalised CNTs (f-CNTs) are able to form stable complexes with plasmid DNA. It is also demonstrated that the same f-CNTs penetrate cell membranes and are uptaken by cells while exhibiting reduced cytotoxicity.
