Sulla base delle informazioni fornite dagli strumenti tecnologici, si considera il
rapporto tra poesia latina tarda e la letteratura epica di età repubblicana. Il lavoro
si concentra su una selezione di testi per dimostrare che gli Annales di Ennio erano
stati per alcuni secoli non solo un potente motore di ispirazione poetica, ma anche
un ricco archivio di modelli e strutture (parole, suoni, metri, ritmo) per versificatori
ecclesiastici e profani. By using innovative information technological tools, this paper considers the relationship
between Late Latin poetry and Republican authors of epic literature. The paper
focuses on a selection of texts to demonstrate that Ennius’ Annales had been for some
centuries not only a powerful engine of poetic inspiration but also a rich repository of
patterns and frameworks (e.g. words, sounds, metric, rhythm) for both ecclesiastic and
profane versifiers.
