The study is linked to the biography and the personality of Baron Pasquale Revoltella (1795 - 1869), extraordinary figure of businessman and merchant in austro - hungarian Trieste. At death he asked to be embalmed "in according to egyptian modality". In respect of last will of Baron, we proceeded to survey his bodym buried in S. Pasquale Baylon Church in Trieste. Specifically, this works describes the findings from the taphonomic and antrophological study of the remains, trying to obtain significant informationsaboun embalming tecniques and causa mortis of Baron, as well as some aspects of his habits of life.
