Goethe, il diritto romano e l'anatra che s'attuffa

The paper analyses a sentence from the conversation of 6th April 1829 of the Gespräche mit Goethe in den letzten Jahren seines Lebens by Eckermann, in which Goethe mentions the Roman law and the famous metaphor of the duck. The Italian translations thereof are discussed and compared.
