The researchers who studied the late Hellenistic hoard discovered in Locus 120 of Khirbet Qumran, March 21/1955, never examined the photographs of the time of the excavations, both the manuscript catalogue of Henri Seyrig and Augustus Spijkerman, and photographic book of Aida Arif 1986. Now, however, some black and white photographs dated 1955-1960 found on the archives of the École Biblique et Archéologique Française (EBAF) and the Studium Biblicum Franciscanum (SBF) allow to confirm the place of discovery and defining the composition and the chronology of the hoard of the tetradrachms / didrachms / shekels and Roman Republicans denarii.
