Abstract
We show how to obtain a single chiral family of an SOð10Þ grand unified theory (GUT), starting from a Majorana-Weyl representation of a unifying (GraviGUT) group SOð3; 11Þ, which contains the gravita- tional Lorentz group SOð3; 1Þ. An action is proposed, which reduces to the correct fermionic grand unified theory action in the broken phase.
