Retorica dei personaggi e tragedia nei drammi di Schiller. L’esempio del "Wallenstein"

Benzi, Laura

Abstract
The author analyses the performative implications related to the use of rhetorical codifications in Schiller's dramas, on the basis of the conception of the aesthetic effect developed by the author in his writings on the theory of theatre. In an analysis of Wallenstein, the connection between rhetoric and the affective dimension of the recipient/reader is put in relation both to the construction of the relationships among characters, and to the predisposition of the audience's reactions.
