The author describes her experience as a volunteer in Brazil in the years 1969/1974 at the Ngo Movimento de educação promocional do Espírito Santo (Mepes) which, in collaboration with the Ngo Amici dello stato brasiliano dell’Espírito Santo (Aes ) of Padua have tried to answer the demand for training/education for the children of farmers, insistently requested by parents, finding in the Agricultural family schools (Efa) the most appropriate educational methodology for the rural world.
