The paper is focused on some relevant philosophical issues discussed by Vigna in his book entitled Etica del desiderio come etica del riconoscimento: a teleological justification in ethics; a new understanding of metaethics; the dialectic of desire; the logic of reciprocal recognition. It also suggests a different terminology that could provide a better account of the structure and of several forms of recognition.
