Abstract
In recent years, after a period of apparent quiescence, the teaching of comparative education in Italian universities seems to show a positive trend. But if in previous surveys this "new vitality" seemed linked to a traditional Italian perspective on comparative education, based mainly on historical approaches, the latest forms of "renewed vitality" seem to be linked, among other things, to developments in the implementation of the Bologna process in Italy, and to a renewed sensitivity to the "international".
