The Author analyzes 'Um copo de cólera' (1978), by Raduan Nassar, and 'Estorvo' (1991), by Chico Buarque, aiming at observing the possible relationship between the romanesque form and the representation of deadlocks faced in the social and political brazilian context in the last quarter of the 20th century. Starts from the hypothesis that the social and political issues evoked in the books suggest a formal deadlock which refers back to a thematic deadlock. El Autor analiza 'Um copo de cólera' (1978), de Raduan Nassar, y 'Estorvo' (1991), de Chico Buarque, con el fin de observar la posible relación entre la forma novelesca y el 'impasse' social y político del contexto brasileño en el último cuarto del siglo XX. Asume que los problemas sociales y políticos planteados en estos dos libros constituyen una impasse formal que se refiere a una impasse temática. L’Autore analizza 'Um copo de cólera' (1978), di Raduan Nassar, e 'Estorvo' (1991), di Chico Buarque, allo scopo di osservare la possibile relazione tra la forma romanzesca e l’impasse sociale e politico del contesto brasiliano nell’ultimo quarto del Novecento. Parte dall’ipotesi che le questioni sociali e politiche sollevate in questi due libri costituiscano una 'impasse' formale che rinvia a una impasse tematica.
