Impregnation studies are tedious and time consuming. Sometimes hours are needed to reach the final saturation. When a given process has to be evaluated, the choice of the conditions and/or the choice of the proper matrix to be impregnated will be the starting steps. Supercritical fluid chromatography is a tool which can give useful information reducing the tests needed.
