In her The Red Book Hours, the Jungian psychologist, scholar and multimedia artist Jill Mellick presents a remarkable and inspiring analysis of one of Carl Gustav Jung’s most important works: The Red Book (Jung 2009), a sixteen-year-long documentation of his own self-analysis - from 1914 to 1930. Jung wanted to understand himself more thoroughly and familiarise himself more profoundly with the various facets of his personality, creatively transposing and instilling them in his texts and images.
