This paper outlines the integration of computer history into the ITS Volta Trieste Computer Science curriculum, a project inspired by Prof. Bonfanti’s laboratory approach during museum visits and supported by PRSD funding. The Institute developed Learning Units using the Museum as the core resource. Three thematic paths (Retro, Fabulous 80s, Operating System) were integrated into the Systems and Networks course through the EAS methodology. The project, which is currently expanding to include Artificial Intelligence (AI) and collaboration with the English department, successfully contextualizes technical skills, boosting student motivation and critical thinking through the comparison of historical and modern technology.
