This work applies the principles for the value creation in the production process, leading to the drafting of a new production layout for a semi-finished wood products in industry of wood furniture. The Lean Manufactuirng concepts lead to a significant change for a future state map that correctly brings to the waste minimization. Finally, nine indices are set out to monitoring the process of proposed future state, allowing you to control the production process to see if problems will arise
