Abstract
Accelerated placental maturation is regarded as a sign of vascular malperfusion and is often interpreted as a compensatory response by the placenta. In vitro embryo culture affects placental development. This study assessed placental maturation in spontaneous conceived and in vitro conceived pregnancies.
