Abstract
Pathogenesis of rosacea primarily involves vascular alterations, namely persistent vasodilatation, increased vascular permeability, and abnormal vasomotor response to various stimuli.1 Estimation of severity and course of the disease is currently based on clinical evaluation.2 Development of imaging techniques allowing better visualization of vessels might enhance clinical assessment of disease severity, physical course, and response to treatment.3
