This paper is an experimental-analytical investigation on the
structural behavior of a two-span steel-concrete bridge. The use
of mixed experimental data coming {}from static and dynamic
testing has proved determinant for the identification of an
accurate finite element model of the bridge and for a full
understanding of its structural behavior. In addition, experience
has suggested, so as restricting the indeterminacy frequently
affecting structural identification problems, having resort to all
the a priori information on the system and mindfully selecting the
parameters to be identified.
