Abstract
A broad spectrum of congenital and acquired nonneoplastic disorders of the penis and scrotum can be encountered in clinical practice. The most conspicuous are those with ambiguity of the external genitalia such as true hermaphroditism, male pseudohermaphroditism, and female pseudohermaphroditism. The most common isolated abnormality of the penis is hypospadias. Other rare anomalies include epispadias, penile agenesis, diphallia, microphallus, penoscrotal transposition, penile cysts and webs, and complete penile corporal septation. Acquired nonneoplastic disorders of the penis include erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, priapism, penile scar and fibrosis, penile inflammation, and penile cysts
