Lo scopo di questo contributo è ripercorre la vicenda confusa e travagliata del frammento di una grande base rinvenuta nel 1924 a Duino (ager di Aquileia) con i resti del nome e della titolatura di C. Sempronius Tuditanus, cos. 129 a.C. L’iscrizione, ulteriormente frammentata qualche anno dopo il rinvenimento, risulta attualmente dispersa.
The aim of this brief note is to trace the confused and troubled history of an inscription fragment found in 1924 in Duino (ager of Aquileia) with the name and title of C. Sempronius Tuditanus, cos. 129 BC. The inscription, further fragmented some years after the discovery, is now lost.
