The impact of migration on security and work is one of the major issues rode by radical right-wing
movements worldwide. This paper is focused on the Italian far-right party CasaPound. It’s motivated
also by the growth of public interest in this political movement. Within this presentation, two case
studies regarding the interconnections between location (here: central and border areas) and radical
tendencies are emphasized. The first case study took place in Central Italy — the municipality of Ostia,
not far from Rome; and the second study was in a border area — Gorizia.
