Il contributo fornisce un inquadramento originale su ricostruzioni, costruzioni e progetti del secondo dopoguerra in Friuli, in relazione a edilizia, urbanistica e infrastrutture.
Si tratta di un periodo di indagine di grande complessità, che vede l'avvio di processi variamente articolati, a partire dalle prime fasi dell'emergenza, per passare a interventi sistematici di ridefinizione dell'immagine del territorio costruito, fino all'impostazione di progetti infrastrutturali di ampio respiro, caratterizzato da momenti fondanti, ma, anche, da conflitti irrisolti e occasioni mancate.| The paper provides an original overview of reconstructions, constructions and projects, dating the second post-war period in Friuli, as related to building, town planning and infrastructures.
The period of investigation is marked by several different processes, variously articulated: starting from the first phases of the emergency, moving on to systematic interventions, redefining the image of the built territory, up to the setting up of wide-ranging infrastructural projects, characterised by founding moments, but also by unresolved conflicts and missed opportunities.
