Eco-logia: la scienza nei romanzi di Umberto Eco. Può la letteratura trovare ospitalità in un museo scientifico? Una riflessione su un fruttuoso evento culturale al Museo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología di A Coruña (Galizia, Spagna)

Between March 2018 and July 2019, the National Museum of Science and Technology (MUNCYT) in A Coruña organised the exhibition “Eco-logy: science in the novels of Umberto Eco”. The exhibition was structured in four thematic areas around twenty texts taken from Umberto Eco’s novels, combined with artifacts from the Museum’s collection. There were also five interactive modules which were complemented by two activity guides for primary and secondary schools. This paper examines the exhibition and its related conferences and workshops, to highlight the fruitful dialogue between humanities and science and the importance of stimulating their interaction from an educational point of view.
