A calculation program is presented for CAD based checking of the impellers of a standardized series of hydraulic pumps with k = wQ0.5(gH)-0.75 = 0.375 - 0.600 (Q is the volumetric flow in m3/s), w is the angular velocity in rad/s, and H is the head in the impeller), mainly on the basis of the classical method of Donath. The fluid dynamic and structural design aspects of the impeller are reported.
