Abstract
This article presents an overview of chestnut harvesting machines, tracing the development of various mechanisms and technological advancements from traditional methods to modern mechanical systems. Operational principles and design features have been classified based on patent analysis, literature and market research. Trends and innovations, in the field of chestnuts harvesting, have been emphasized showing how technological progress has addressed specific agricultural, environmental, and economical challenges. Moreover, this study aligns with multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting sustainable mechanization and enhancing agricultural efficiency. It supports decent working conditions while leveraging technological innovation to improve harvesting processes.
