1. Radiologists can be easily familiar with: a) main concepts of Information Theory (IT); b) measures of information defined by IT. 2. Radiological diagnosis can be modeled in terms of IT, providing informational measures of the accuracy of a diagnostic test. 3. Informational measures have the potential to complement and refine standard analysis of accuracy.
