This is a study about the possibility of enter into marriage after the Council of Trent, making recourse to ancient rituals, in particular the sponsalia per verba de futuro followed by the solemnis traductio ad domum in presence of the parson and the witnesses. In doctrine are not lacking those who say this possibility: some according to the consuetudo loci, others as long as the bride and groom declare to the parish priest and witnesses their will to contract marriage with that ductio following engagement.
