Further ten species of alien arthropods reported in “Flora e Fauna of the eastern Veneto plains” (Italy).
During some surveys carried out in 2017 in the territory of the eastern Veneto plains, ten new species of alien insects, not previously reported in this journal, were found. All the mentioned species are already known for Italy and this territory. Some of them were introduced a long time ago, such as the grapevine phylloxera (Daktulosphaira vitifoliae), others have been reported most recently, such as the oriental mud-dauber wasp (Chalybion bengalense), the walnut leafminer (Coptodisca lucifluella), the new American grapevine leafminer (Antispila oinophylla) and the ragweed leaf beetle (Ophraella communa). However, the list of alien arthropod species reported in this journal (in total 42 species) is still largely incomplete.
