Microchains influence transmission in Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The purpose of this paper is to verify the ability to
transmit the influence, through the process of impulse/
response, in the traditional sectors compared to the
corresponding quality food microchains. The
technique used for this purposes is the graph of
influence. Concerning the Italian agri-food system
have used the data of the symmetric input-output
tables (SIOT - 69 branches) made ISMEA. We
then proceeded to collect the data budget and nonmonetary
covering 30 quality microchains of Friuli
Venezia Giulia chosen through a sample survey. Then
we built SIOT tables to 69 branches. The next step
was the implementation of a portable software
(Visual Basic) for the determination of all the paths
of influence (1, 2 and 3 arches) and cycles present
in the ISMEA matrix of coefficients and in micro
chains. Based on this analysis you can define a crosssectoral
development policy capable of overcoming
problems and to exploit the potential of food
microchains.
