This paper proposes an initial investigation of the poems written by Eduard Limonov. The latter, in fact, is a very well-known novelist and challenging political figure, but few studies have considered his poetry. This research will hence explore to what extent Limonov’s poetry reflects that of his model, Velemir Khlebnikov, as well as the features of Oberiuty’s production (from Harms and Vvedensky, to Oleynikov and Zabolotsky). Finally, this paper also underlines the undisputed originality that characterizes the case study under examination.
