В данной статье речь пойдет о неко-торых общих тенденциях формиро-вания и развития комиксов в России и Италии, о предшественниках этого смешанного жанра, о первона-чальной сфере его распространения в литературе для детей и причинах такого ограничения, о политизи-рованности и пропагандистской направленности комиксов в первой половине XX века, о причинах отсутствия популярности комиксов в Советском Союзе и его бурного развития в Италии, о возрожде-нии жанра в России в последние десятилетия, а также о двух значи-мых фигурах в мире российских
и итальянских комиксов: Юрии Павловиче Лобачеве и Паоле Лам-брозо Карраре. This article will focus on some general trends of the formation and develop-ment of comics in Russia and Italy, on the predecessors of this mixed genre, on the initial scope of its spread-ing in children’s literature and the reasons for the restrictions, on the politicization and propaganda orien-tation of comics in the first half of the XX century, on the reasons for the lack of popularity of comics in the Soviet Union and its rapid development in Ita-ly, on the revival of this genre in Russia in recent decades, as well as on two significant figures in the world of Rus-sian and Italian comics: Yuri Pavlovich Lobachev and Paola Lombroso Carrara.
